Old Finley Road Out and Back - Beginner Ride

6 miles distance, 714 ft climbing

This route is suitable for beginners. It is a non-technical fire road out and back. It is a bit of a climb up to Highland Ridge though. Go as far as you feel comfortable and enjoy the views of Morgan Territory and the back side of Mt Diablo.

Parking is on the right side of the street. There is a short ride to the park entry. Stay to the left when you get to the first gate on the pavement and follow the path around the gate.
